Requirements for UAE Visas

  • Private companies have the option to get new employment entry permits for their staff members, provided they submit applications for residence visa status within 30 days of the employee’s arrival in the UAE.
  • For companies registered within a free zone, the employment visa will have a validity of three years.For onshore registered companies, the visa will remain valid for a duration of two years.
  • Furthermore, it also the responsibility of employer to oversee all travel arrangements for the new employee, which may include obtaining the necessary ‘okay to board’ clearance, a requirement by certain airlines.

Family Residency Visas:

If your family members are currently residing outside the UAE, the initial step involves applying for an entry residence visa. Once they have arrived in the country, you will then have a grace period of 30 days to proceed with the application for the residence stamp.

To be eligible for a residence visa, your monthly income must meet certain criteria. For individual sponsorship, your monthly salary should be at least AED 4,000 or AED 3,000 along with provided accommodation. However, if you intend to sponsor a residence visa for your parents, the minimum required monthly salary is AED 20,000, or AED 19,000 with a two-bedroom accommodation.

Required documentation for Residency Visas:

  • Application form filled out.
  • For government employees, a salary certificate is required, while other employees need to provide an attested employment contract.
  • For long-term residents, you should provide your three most recent bank statements. However, if you are a new resident, the requirement is slightly different; you can submit your most recent month’s bank statement, but you must also include a bank letter confirming your salary transfer.
  • An Attested tenancy agreement, along with both your Emirates ID card and labor card.
  • A marriage certificate, Attested by UAE authorities (for marriages that took place in the UAE) or authenticated in your home country, is required for sponsoring your spouse.
  • Original passports along with copies for both the sponsor and the respective family member(s).
  • Three passport-sized photos of Each family member.
  • Medical examination reports for spouses and children aged 15 years and above from Authorized medical facilities or clinics.
  • Please also note that to maintain the validity of your family member’s residence visa, they should not leave the UAE for a period exceeding six months. Additionally, in situations where a Muslim expatriate has entered into multiple marriages, they are eligible to obtain only one residence visa.
